High Wind Literally Blows Semi Off The Road In Southern Minnesota, Injuring The Driver
(St. James, Mn.)-- Thursday's high wind literally blew a semi off the road in southern Minnesota, injuring the driver.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 48-year-old Timothy Vanslyke of Eagan, Minnesota was driving the rig eastbound on Highway 60 near Butterfield when the semi left the road due to the high wind. Vanslyke was taken to the St. James hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident took place shortly before 5:00 pm.
The Watonwan County Sheriff's Office assisted on the scene.
