Grapetree Medical Staffing Purchases Boji Bay Fun House & Pavilion; Slide, Sugar Bowl & Barrel To Be Donated To Arnolds Park

Fri 10-6-2017

(Milford)-- Another major announcement this (Fri.) morning from a Milford company. Grape Tree Medical Staffing CEO Tim Kinnetz announced his company is purchasing Boji Bay Fun House and Event Center...Kinnetz02

"You know we had the Governor in town, she helped us announce our major expansion. It was that announcement that caused the Wells family to approach me and just ask if I was interested in the corner and the Boji Bay property, and so we did some due diligence and it really seems like it's going to be a win, win, win situation for all of us. The real exciting part of that is the historical toys in that building, the slide, the barrel and the sugar bowl get to make their way back to the amusement park. We've been in conversation with the amusement park, the Wells family and everyone is very pleased that those items get to make their way back and the timing is just right with the restoration project, so the stars are aligning and it's a great opportunity for me and my company to get into a building that is a substantial size. We can get into that building much faster than putting up a new complex and financially it's a more sound decision for us and we couldn't be more pleased."

In addition to the fun house toys, Kinnetz says they will also be donating the events stage to Arnolds Park. Kinnetz adds "That One Place" restaurant will be closed during removal of the fun house toys and the remodeling. He says plans are in the works to replace it with another dining facility.

Events scheduled for this weekend at Boji Bay WILL be held AS SCHEDULED.

Kinnetz says it will take about nine months to renovate the Boji Bay facility, and that it will likely be in the summer of next year when Grapetree Medical Staffing will be able to locate there.

Grape Tree Medical staffing announced earlier this summer plans to hire an additional 200 new office positions locally, and Kinnetz says they're still on target for that...Kinnetz03

"We're still looking at increasing our employee base, so we're still actively hiring and hiring rather quickly. We're looking at afternoon and weekend shifts."

Grape Tree Medical Staffing manages nearly 3,000 healthcare employees through its headquarters in Milford. The company was founded by Kinnetz in 1999 and provides staffing to healthcare facilities throughout the Midwest.
