Governor Kim Reynolds Appoints Several Northwest Iowans To Various State Boards & Commissions
(Des Moines)-- Governor Kim Reynolds today (Wed.) announced the appointments of several northwest Iowans to various state boards and commissions.
Nichole Origer of West Bend was selected to serve on the Board of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences; Chad Janzen of Rock Valley was appointed to the Board of Educational Examiners; Gayle Mayer of Spirit Lake was appointed to the Board of Pharmacy; Doug Boone of Sioux Center was selected for the Enhance Iowa Board; Kris Rowley of Spirit Lake was appointed to the Investment Board of IPERS; Michelle Grant and Betsy Lenzemeier, both of Storm Lake, were selected to serve on the Iowa Autism Council; and Nancy McDowell and Curt Strouth, both of Sheldon, were appointed to the Iowa Workforce Development Board. The appointments are all subject to Senate confirmation.
In addition, Joshua Bowar of Sioux Center and Patricia Lansink of Ida Grove, were selected to serve on the Nonpublic School Advisory Committee. Those appointments are NOT subject to Senate confirmation.
