Governor Kim Reynolds Allows Additional Businesses To Re-Open; Releases Restrictions On 22 Remaining Counties

"These positive signs give me confidence that we're on the right path and we're ready to take additional steps forward. Therefore effective May 15th, all restrictions currently lifted in Iowa's 77 counties will be expanded statewide which includes restaurants, fitness centers, and additionally salons, barbershops, massage therapy may re-open statewide with again, some capacity restrictions, health measures that are put in place and recommended guidance from the Department of Public Health."
Bars, casinos and similar businesses remain closed. She didn't give a timeline today (Wednesday) as to when they may re-open.
