"We're working closely with the Iowa High School Athletic Association and others to make this possible. And together with the Department of Public Health, we're also working with youth sports associations to develop a plan to bring other sports opportunities back for the summer, and more will be coming on that next week. Over the next week I'll also be working closely with the Department of Public Health to evaluate whether any other changes to our public health strategies should be made, and I expect to announce more details next week as we approach the end of the current Emergency Disaster Proclamation on May 27th."
Casinos and amusement parks are not included in the re-openings that were announced today (Wed.) but the Governor said her office is continuing to work with them on establishing guidelines.
