Former CEO Of Spencer Dream Center Faces Additional Charges As New Alleged Victim Comes Forward
(Spencer)-- A fourth victim has now come forward, alleging sexual exploitation by a Spencer, Iowa pastor who founded the Dream Center.
Kevin Grimes is now facing six charges of Sexual Exploitation by a Counselor in Clay County District Court.
Arraignment is set for October 17.
Four of the charges are felonies, two are aggravated misdemeanors.
Court documents allege from 2011 to 2016, Grimes engaged in a pattern of conduct to engage in sexual conduct with four emotionally dependent clients.
Grimes is also accused of engaging in sex acts with one victim on two separate occasions last September and December.
Grimes founded the Spencer Dream Center in 2010, while he was the senior pastor at DaySpring Church.
The center offers troubled youth outreach and tutoring, food and clothing.
Grimes resigned as CEO of the Dream Center in May after he became the focus of the criminal investigation.
