Execution Of Search Warrant Results In Multiple Drug Charges Against Man
(Spencer)-- A Greenville man was arrested on drug charges after authorities executed a search warrant June 12th.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says Justin Ries was charged with possession with intent to deliver over 5 grams of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance...marijuana, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp. He was booked into the Clay county jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
Authorities say the search was conducted on Ries' residence at 1108 Main Street in Greenville, and on his vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of West 3rd Street in Spencer.
The HEAT tactical team assisted in the search of the residence, where another suspect, identified as Michael Scott, was located. He was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license.
Authorities say the search resulted in them discovering Ries was in possession of nearly 362 grams of pure meth, nearly 170 grams of marijuana, just over a half gram of a fentanyl/heroin mixture, drug paraphernalia, and nearly $25,000 in cash.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office is offering a cash reward for anyone who provides information in the case that results in the arrest of additional suspects.
