Execution Of Search Warrant On Okoboji Residence Results In Arrests Of Three People On Multiple Drug Charges
(Okoboji)-- The execution of a search warrant Monday afternoon on a residence at 1104 Depot Avenue in Okoboji resulted in the arrests of three people on multiple drug charges. In addition, authorities say they seized quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, hash oil, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and over $37,000 in cash.
24-year-old Cole Rongved and 46-year-old Peggy Binkley were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and LSD, along with three counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was 38-year-old Timothy Higgins. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance...marijuana.
Okoboji police were assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation and that additional charges are possible.
