Estherville-Lincoln Central School Officials Confirm Positive Test For COVID-19
(Estherville)-- Officials with the Estherville-Lincoln Central School District say they've been notified of a positive COVID-19 case within their system. They aren't saying if it's a teacher, administrator or student, citing privacy laws.
District officials say all individuals who had direct exposure, defined as within six feet for 15 minutes or more, to the individual who has tested positive have been contacted and given directives to quarantine. They are also recommended to get tested for the virus. The district says if you have not been notified by Emmet County Public Health or Estherville-Lincoln Central Community School District, your child(ren) has/have not been directly exposed.
E-L-C officials say the district will continue to follow all COVID-related safety procedures.
They add they are working closely with public health officials to "address the current situation".
