Erratic Driving Complaint Leads To Pursuit, Arrest On I-90 Near Sherburn
(Sherburn, Mn.)-- A driving complaint on Interstate 90 in Jackson County led to the arrest of a Sioux Falls Man.
Around 10pm Saturday, Jackson County Deputies responded to the complaint of a vehicle reportedly swerving as it travelled the eastbound lane of I-90 near the Okabena/Heron Lake exit.
A deputy located the vehicle and witnessed the driving behavior. The deputy attempted to make a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit was initiated.
Stop sticks were deployed at the Lakefield exit and disabled the two front tires of the vehicle, which continued eastbound to Sherburn, where it entered the ditch.
The driver, 24 year-old Joseph Bendixon of Sioux Falls, was arrested for Fleeing and DUI.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.
There were no injuries reported.
