DNR To Hold Meeting On Possible Hunting Rule Changes
(Spirit Lake)-- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will hold a series of meetings around the state to recap hunting seasons and discuss possible rule changes. One of those will be held in the Iowa Great Lakes. It's set for 6:30 pm Tuesday, February 26th at the Dickinson County Nature Center.
Todd Bishop, Chief of the Iowa DNR's Wildlife Bureau, says those attending will be able to hear reviews of the seasons, ask questions and hear directly from DNR staff.
Bishop says part of the meeting will be devoted to discussing possible rule changes and to collect feedback as they work through the rules process. He adds the proposed rule changes will be presented to the Natural Resource Commission during a regular public meeting for consideration and additional public comment.
