Disturbance Investigation Results In Arrest Of Estherville Man
(Estherville)-- An investigation into a disturbance early Monday morning in Estherville resulted in an arrest.
Police say officers were called to the 900 block of 12th Avenue North shortly after 6:00 am after getting a report of possible gunshots. Upon arriving police found two men in the street yelling at each other. Police allege that one of the men broke the windows out of a vehicle parked nearby and appeared intoxicated.
Police identified the suspect as 33-year-old James Short of Estherville. He was arrested and booked into jail on charges of public intoxication…2nd offense and 2nd degree criminal mischief. Bond was set at $6,000 cash or surety.
