Disturbance Early Sunday At Emmetsburg Residence Results In Arrest Of Fairmont, Mn. Man On Attempted Murder & Other Charges
(Emmetsburg)-- A Fairmont, Minnesota man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident over the weekend in Emmetsburg.
Emmetsburg police say they were called around 1:30 am Sunday to a residence in the 2600 block of 6th Street for an assault. Upon arriving officers provided first aid to an adult male victim who had sustained several stab wounds and lacerations to his face, torso and leg. The victim was transported to Palo Alto County Hospital. Another victim, an adult female, was also taken to the hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Upon investigating 39-year-old Ryan Clark of Fairmont was arrested and charged with attempted murder...a class “B” felony, domestic assault with a weapon, and two counts of child endangerment. The latter two charges are both aggravated misdemeanors.
Clark was booked into the Palo Alto county jail on a $350,000 bond.
Police say additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
