Dickinson County Supervisors Approve Zoning Change

Tue 12-3-2019

(Spirit Lake)-- The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors today (Tues.) approved a recommendation from the county's Planning and Zoning Commission to rezone a little more than 40 acres of land southwest of Milford from Heavy Industrial to Agricultural. The owner of the land which at one time had a salvage yard on it, wants to build a new house on a portion of the site.

The supervisors voted four-to-nothing to approve the change following a public hearing that drew no opposition. They waived the 2nd and 3rd readings, meaning the change will become final upon publication.

The supervisors also today (Tues.) voted to amend the county's Comprehensive Land Use Plan to reflect the re-zoning.

Supervisor Chairman Bill Leupold was out of town for today's (Tues.) meeting.
