Dickinson County Sees Total COVID Cases Surge To More Than 150
(Des Moines)-- Dickinson county continues to see a dramatic increase in the number of people testing positive for COVID-19. As of late this (Mon.) morning, the Iowa Department of Public Health reported the total number of cases in Dickinson county had surged to 151. Of those, officials say 42 have recovered. That number has held steady the past several days. So far, no deaths from the virus have been reported in Dickinson county.
In adjoining counties, Clay county saw it's total number of cases so far grow to 76; Emmet count was at 40; Palo Alto remained at 14; Osceola 49 and O'Brien county was at 66 total cases so far.
Statewide as of 10:00 this (Monday) morning, the Iowa Department of Public Health was reporting one additional death from COVID-19 and 121 new cases since Sunday afternoon. It brings the total number of cases in the state so far to 24,041 with the total number of deaths at 652.
