Dickinson County Continues To See Surge In COVID-19 Cases; Case Count More Than Doubles In Past Week
(Spirit Lake)-- Dickinson county continues to see a surge in positive cases of COVID-19 with the total number of cases nearing 50. The Iowa Department of Public Health was reporting seven additional positive cases in Dickinson county since Saturday, with the county's total number of cases standing at 48 as of late this (Sunday) afternoon. Dickinson county's case count has more than doubled now in the past week.
Elsewhere in the area, Emmet county reported three additional cases since Saturday for a total of 30; Clay county had five additional cases for a total of 34; Buena Vista county reported eight more cases for a total of 1,126; O'Brien county with one additional case for a total of 47; Sioux county reported one additional case for a total of 312 so far; Cherokee county reported 15 additional cases for a total of 46; Lyon county with one additional case for a total of 25; Osceola county held steady at 37 and Plymouth county was unchanged at 156.
