Dickinson County Conservation to Host Programs for Wings and Wetlands Weekend

(Okoboji)-The 21st Annual Wings and Wetlands Weekend is a joint effort among Northwest Iowa Conservations groups,

with two programs hosted by the Dickinson County Conservation Board on Saturday, May 14.

Wings and Wetlands programs in Dickinson County 

The Warbler Walk will begin at 8 am Saturday at the Marble Lake boat ramp. Local birder Ed Telen will lead people through Kettleson Hogsback State Park in search of migrating warblers and other avian creatures.

Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, or some will be provided.  Dress appropriately for a short hike.

The Great Horned Owl Program will be held indoors at the Dickinson County Nature Center at 1 pm on Saturday.
