(Okoboji)-- The next production of the season opens this (Tues.) evening at Okoboji Summer Theatre. The curtain will go up on “Clue On Stage”. Stephen Brotebeck of OST tells us it's an adaptation of the popular board game...
"The show is based on the movie from 1985 with Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Martin Mull, just some amazing comedians. And it really wasn't a hit in 1985. People, they didn't really know about it, they didn't really go, but it's become a cult classic, you can watch it on Amazon Prime and anywhere now, and it's just become a movie where people go back to when they want to see just some amazing comedians, you know, navigate a murder mystery, and it's some famous lines. We're really excited to do this new adaptation. They keep, this work itself, they keep sort of changing it every year. They're trying to get it to a point where I think they might take it on a national tour, this production, and so we're really fortunate to be able to do this project."
The production runs through Sunday. Tickets are available by contacting the box office at 332-7773 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

"This summer we're partnering with the Pearson Lakes Art Center and we're going to be performing on their outdoor amphitheatre, on the north side of their building. So that show opens Wednesday. It's called Sideway Stories from Wayside School and it goes Wednesday through Saturday. All four performances are weather-permitting and begin at 10:30 am."
Tickets for the Boji Bantam are $7 per patron and can be purchased prior to the show.
