Crash On Hwy 71 Just South Of Windom Injures Jackson Teen And 6-Year-Old Child
(Windom, Mn.)-- A single vehicle crash Friday evening on Highway 71 just south of Windom injured a Jackson teen.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 17-year-old Mackenna Drahota of Jackson was driving a 2003 Suzuki southbound when the vehicle left the road and rolled.
Drahota and a 6-year-old child who was a passenger in the vehicle were taken to the Windom hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The Cottonwood and Jackson County Sheriff's Offices, Windom Police, Windom Fire Department and the Windom ambulance all assisted on the scene.
The crash took place around 8:20 pm.
