COVID-19 Testing In Minnesota Hits 10,000 Per Day
(St. Paul)-- Minnesota topped the 10,000 tests per day threshold yesterday with 10,631 test completed, bringing the states total to over 322,000 tests.
Officials reported 712 new positive COVID-19 cases this morning, bringing the state’s total to almost 27,000. Jackson County is still at 42, Cottonwood County increased 3 to 82, Martin County is up 3 to 135 and Nobles County increased 15 to 1,577.
33 new deaths reported this morning, bringing the state’s total to 1,148, of which 922 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
The number of Minnesotans in the hospital dropped by 34 to 478. Those in ICU dropped 24 to 220.
