COVID-19 Cases In Minnesota Hit 18,000 With 32 New Deaths...A New Single Day High
(St. Paul, Mn.)-- The number of COVID-19 cases in Minnesota has now topped 18,000 with 539 new positive cases being reported. Jackson county held at 36, Cottonwood county at 59, Martin county increase one to 124 and Nobles county increased 18 to 1,414.
32 new deaths were reported this (Thurs.) morning, a new single day high. Minnesota's death toll now stands at 809. 635 of those are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
Almost 5,700 tests were reported, bringing the state's total to over 173,000 tests completed. 566 Minnesotans are hospitalized from COVID-19, which is up from Wednesday. Total in ICU increased 17, at 229.
