COVID-19 Cases In Dickinson County Surpasses 40 As Of This (Sat.) Morning
(Des Moines)-- The number of COVID-19 cases in Dickinson county has now surpassed 40. According to information from the Iowa Coronavirus website, the number of positive cases reported so far in Dickinson county had increased to 41 as of this (Saturday) morning. Four additional cases were reported Friday with three more this (Saturday) morning. 12 recoveries have been reported so far. The state's website Friday indicated there had been some COVID-19 deaths in Dickinson county but officials say that was incorrect and that no virus deaths have been reported so far in the county.
Elsewhere, Clay county reported two additional positive cases Friday for a total of 29 so far; Emmet county was up one to 27; Palo Alto county was unchanged at seven; Pocahontas county was up two to 20; Cherokee county unchanged with 41; O'Brien county was up six to 46; Osceola county reported two additional cases Friday for a total of 37; Lyon county was unchanged with 24; Sioux county reported five more cases for a total of 311; Plymouth county was up six to 156; and Buena Vista county reported 44 more cases Friday for a total of 1,096.
