Collision Sends Motorcyclist To The Hospital
(Windom, Mn.)-- One person was injured Tuesday when a motorcycle he was operating collided with a car at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 16th Street in Windom.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 56-year-old Roger Thompson of Windom was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson and 38-year-old Amy Johnson of Windom was driving a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Troopers say Thompson and Johnson were both northbound when Johnson attempted to make a U-turn in front of the motorcycle driven by Thompson, resulting in a collision. The motorcycle hit the curb and tipped over.
Thompson was taken to the Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to Johnson.
