(Milford)-- A two-vehicle collision Sunday on Highway 86 northwest of Milford sent one person to the hospital.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 76-year-old Chester DeBoer of Omaha was driving a 2007 Lincoln Town Car northbound, following a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country van owned by Hope Haven of Rock Valley and driven by 60-year-old Brenda Seney of Arnolds Park. Seney was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake complaining of pain. No other injuries were reported.
DeBoer was cited for failing to stop in an assured, clear distance.
$10,000 in damage was estimated to the Lincoln driven by DeBoer; damage to the van driven by Seney was estimated at $3,000.
The collision took place shortly after 1:00 p.m.
