Collision On Hwy 18 In Clay County Sends Two People To The Hospital
(Spencer)-- A collision Friday in the 2700 mile of Highway 18 in Clay county sent two people to the hospital.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says Doris Salton of Dickens was driving a Town and Country van eastbound when she collided with the rear of an eastbound International semi tractor hauling a bailer, driven by Thomas Jones of Emmetsburg.
Salton and Jones were taken to Spencer Hospital for treatment of minor injuries: Salton was taken by ambulance while Jones was transported by personal vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to the vehicle driven by Salton and to the bailer being hauled on the semi driven by Jones.
