Clay & Dickinson Counties Authorized For Emergency Haying & Grazing Of CRP Acres

(Undated)-- Clay and Dickinson counties are among 22 in Iowa that have been approved for emergency haying and grazing of Conservation Reserve Program acres for fiscal year 2018 which runs from October 1st to September 30th.

Eligible producers must request approval before haying and grazing can take place and must obtain a modified conservation plan from the Natural Resources Conservation Service that includes the haying and grazing provisions.

Eligible producers can obtain more information and request approval by contacting their local USDA Service Center.
