Clay County Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges Against Wisconsin Man
(Spencer)-- A traffic stop last (Thurs.) evening in Clay county landed a Wisconsin man in jail on drug charges.
The Sheriff's Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 3500 mile of 270th Avenue that was being driven by 19-year-old Samuel Lenz of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Upon investigating it was discovered Lenz had a revoked driver's license.
Upon further investigation deputies found what's alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Lenz was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance...marijuana, driving without headlights, no driver's license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into jail and was later released after posting a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
