Clay County Traffic Stop Results In Arrest Of A Man On Multiple Charges

(Spencer)-- A traffic stop Friday of last week in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Palo, Iowa man on drug charges.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation around 2:45 am in the 4800 mile of Highway 71. Upon investigating it was determined the driver, Connor Fasse-Shaw, had allegedly been driving with a suspended driver's license and he was placed under arrest.

A K-9 unit was deployed on the vehicle, resulting in authorities obtaining a search warrant. Deputies found what's alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Fasse-Shaw was charged with possession of a controlled substance...marijuana...2nd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and speeding.
