Clay County Sheriff's Office seeking information on Hit and Run

(Spencer)-The Clay County Sheriff's Office is seeking information after a hit and run which occurred on Sunday, December 15th at about 4:35 a.m. in the 3000 miles of Highway 18.  Authorities say the Sheriff's Office was called to the scene where it was determined that Wesley Lloyd, age 30 of Spencer, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound pulling a recreational trailer when an unknown female driving a dark colored passenger car collided with the trailer and the Chevrolet.  The female fled the scene prior to emergency services arriving.  Lloyd was transported to Spencer Hospital for injuries sustained during the collision by the Spencer Hospital Ambulance Service.  Damages to the Chevrolet are estimated at $8,000, a total loss.

According to Lloyd, the unknown driver is described as a white female in her early to mid 20s with shoulder length blond hair.  She was wearing a dark coat with fur around the hood, blue jeans and Ugg boots.  The vehicle was described as a dark colored passenger car, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.  The vehicle would have extensive damage to the right front and passenger side.
