Clay County Pheasants Forever Holding Alternative Fundraisers Following Cancellation Of Annual Banquet Due To Covid Concerns
(Spencer)-- The COVID-19 pandemic is also impacting a local Pheasants Forever chapter. Paul Daniels of the Clay County Pheasants Forever says it's forced them to cancel their annual banquet for this year. He says they'll be holding a membership drive and raffle in its place...
"We are sending out mailers to our existing membership mailing list that we have and otherwise you can go to No Limits Outdoors and sign up for it. It's $50. That gets you your membership, you get all your magazines and what not. Also that gets you an entry into a gun raffle for a P F edition Henry Boy rifle which great, plus there's extra entries for a side gun raffle and we have three guns on that, 25 bucks an entry, again, a great way to support if you normally come to our banquet, maybe haven't supported in awhile or maybe with covid there's not much to do other than hunt and you want to come out and get outside and support us. We do a lot of great things throughout the year and a lot of great things for habitat across the nation."
Daniels says the Clay County Pheasants Forever will still be holding their annual Youth Hunt October 24th, along with their 4th annual Lady's Hunt.
