Clay County Disaster Recovery Fund Announces Its First Matching Donors
(Spencer)-- The newly established Clay County Disaster Recovery Fund has announced its first matching donors. Community State Bank and Farmers Trust and Savings Bank, both of Spencer, have stepped forward to contribute $7,000 each to match a $7,000 contribution made to the fund by the Clay County Community Foundation's Advisory Board shortly after the recovery fund was created.
Connie Goeken, Director of the Clay County Community Foundation, expressed her gratitude to the initial donors. She added the Disaster Recovery Fund's advisory board is currently exploring existing needs in Clay county that may be served by grants from the fund.
