City Officials In Spencer Give Update On Openings/Closures
(Spencer)-- City officials in Spencer gave an update Monday evening on the closure of city facilities due to COVID-19.
Effective Tuesday (May 5th), the city's transfer station will reopen to the public, with social distancing guidelines in place. They add no cash payments will be taken at the site.
Also effective Tuesday (May 5th) the Spencer Public Library will begin offering a curbside pick up program. Materials may be reserved by contacting the library at 712-580-7290.
The Spencer City Hall, Fire Department, Police Department and Public Works facility remain closed to the public.
Playgrounds, campgrounds and the Spencer Aquatic Center also remain closed in accordance with orders issued by Governor Kim Reynolds.
