Chain Reaction Accident near Fairmont sends Woman to Hospital

(Fairmont, MN)-A four-vehicle chain reaction accident just north of Fairmont yesterday sent one person to the hospital.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, around 3:30 pm Thursday, 56 year-old Jackie Lueth of Fairmont was driving a 2016 Honda CRC Northbound on Highway 15 and was stopped to turn left onto 150th Street.

21 year-old Rebecca Marley of Midlothian, VA was driving a 2007 Toyota northbound, when she rear-ended a 2015 Dodge Durango driven by 56 year-old Lori Bartels of Truman, which rear-ended a 2018 Chevy SPK driven by 51 year-old Dominique Berg of St. James, which rear-ended Lueth’s Honda.

Bartels was taken to the Fairmont Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The Fairmont Fire Department, Gold Cross Ambulance, Truman Ambulance and Martin County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
