Ceremony Recognizes Dickinson As 30th County In The State To Receive Home Base Iowa Designation

(Arnolds Park)-- A ceremony recognizing Dickinson county as the 30th Home Base Iowa community in the state was held yesterday (Thurs.) afternoon at the Pavilion in Arnolds Park. Joann Fallon of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation, who spearheaded the effort, thanked all those involved in the effort...HBI01

Buena Vista county was also officially recognized as a Home Base Iowa Community at another ceremony that was held Thursday in Storm Lake. Dickinson and Buena Vista were the final two counties in the Corridor’s service area to receive the official designation. Kemp says as a result, this is the first REGION in the state to be involved in the program.
