CARES Carnival to offer Activities, Inflatables and Silent Auction
(Spirit Lake)-The CARES Carnival will be held this Saturday, KUOO's Becky Thoreson has details:
The CARES Carnival will be held at the Dickinson County Expo Building on Saturday.
Organizer Sheila Ove says many free activities will be offered. "Entrance to the Carnival is free, and we do have free activities. The Magician, he's free to watch, The Clowns, balloon-twisting, face-painting, things like that are all free. At the door you can buy tickets, the tickets will be what you use inside for games and for the inflatables. We also have a dunk tank, by the way, and we're going to be dunking some of our local Firemen, they're volunteering to come in and be dunked. And then, we have uniformed Police Officer and McGruff is going to be with us too, so there's a lot going on. If you want to do the Silent Auction or just buy something at the Bake Sale, you can do that, otherwise you can get into the whole thing and buy some tickets and really support this cause."
The CARES Carnival will run from 11-3 on Saturday at the Dickinson County Expo Building in Spirit Lake.
Volunteer meetings are being held Thursday and Friday evenings from 6-8 at the Expo. For KUOO news I'm BT
