Car Vs Semi Collision Injures Woman
(Worthington, Mn.)-- Slick roads were a factor in a car – semi accident yesterday in Worthington that injured a Round Lake woman.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that around 10:30 yesterday (Wed) morning, 39 year-old Oulou Ling of Round Lake in a 2005 Chevy Tahoe that had slid off Interstate 90 and was stationary in the median. A 2006 Peterbuilt Semi, driven by 27 year-old Abhiney Kaplish of Calgary, Alberta was eastbound on I90, lost control, entered the median and struck the Tahoe.
Ling was taken to a Worthington hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Kaplish was not injured.
The Worthington Police and Ambulance and the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
