(Spencer)-- Camp Autumn has received a donation of fishing equipment and supplies from the Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club.

The therapeutic day camp for kids is situated on the shore of a 30-acre lake in O'Brien county and will feature a number of outdoor camp activities, including fishing.

The donation consists of 25 rods and reels with tackle, and fully-stocked tackle bags. The club is also planning to volunteer at the camp and will maintain the fishing supplies throughout the summer.

Terry Thomsen, Vice President of the Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club, says the donation is a great way to promote the sport of fishing among youth.

Camp Autumn is owned and operated by Spencer-based Season's Center For Behavioral Health.
