Bird Flu Impacting Budget Talks

(Des Moines)-- The stalemate over the budget continues at the Iowa Legislature. That means lawmakers will be returning to the statehouse this week, even though their expense payments ran out on Friday.
Major differences remain over key pieces of the state's spending plan, including education and how much to spend on individual departments.
