(Spencer)-- Authorities have released additional details into a fatal collision Thursday at the junction of Highways 71 and 18, or the North Y in Spencer.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office says it involved a 2001 Chevrolet S10 that was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection. Authorities say the driver of that vehicle, 86-year-old Harvey Juber of Melvin, then pulled into the path of a southbound 2001 Freightliner driven by 24-year-old Antwan Hutchinson of Des Moines. A passenger in the pickup, 85-year-old Patricia Juber of Melvin, was pronounced dead at the scene. Harvey Juber was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital and later died of his injuries. The driver of the semi and a passenger in the rig weren't injured.

Authorities say the collision took place shortly before 1:30 pm and that it's still under investigation.

The Spencer Police and Fire Departments assisted on the scene, along with the Iowa State Patrol, Bud's Towing Service and the Medical Examiner.
