Arnolds Park City Council Takes Action To Make A Bid On Current Okoboji Middle School
(Arnolds Park)-- The Arnolds Park City Council spent a portion of its meeting Wednesday night in closed session to talk about making an online bid for the current Okoboji Middle School site.
After reconvening in open session, the council voted in favor of a proposal to have Mike Jensen, a local realtor, represent the city as its agent in the process. Jensen has agreed to donate his time and services to the city.
Councilman Jim Jensen abstained from the vote.
City officials have indicated one possible option for the site would be to relocate city offices there, with the Library and Police Departments remaining in the existing location, allowing them room for future growth. They add, however, nothing definite has been decided on just yet.
