Area Farmers Urged To Attend Annual Pro-Ag & Management Meeting November 11th

(Spirit Lake)-- Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is reminding producers of a couple of Ag Outlook and Management Meetings that will be held in the region Monday, November 11th. One will be held in Sioux City while the other will be in Spirit Lake. The one in Spirit Lake will be held that day from 2:30 until 5:00 pm at the Extension Office, with registration beginning at 2:00 pm.

Gary Wright, Farm Business Management Specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach tells KUOO news experts will be on hand to talk about research-based information key to best-outcome 2020 agricultural decisions...Pro Ag Meeting 

"We're going to talk about the factors related to the ARC/PLC decision, the financial trends associated with that as well, and actually we've got three comrades coming up from campus: Chad Hart, Dr. Chad Hart, Dr. Alejanadro Plastina and Dr. Wendong Zhang will be with us and again there's only two of those in northwest Iowa, that's November 11th. One is in Woodbury and one is in Dickinson in the afternoon, same program, just on the 11th."

Wright says they'll also be talking about trade negotiations with China and the crop market outlook for the upcoming production year.

The cost is $20 for those who register in advance or $25 for those who sign up at the door.
