Area Cities Say They're Addressing Complaints About Tall Grass
(Undated)-- Several area cities say they're seeing an increase in complaints about tall grass this season.
Most cities have ordinances regulating the matter. In most cases grass and weeds must be kept less than 6 inches in height.
That's also the case in Milford. City officials there say it pertains to property owners and residents located within any residential, industrial or commercial zoning district.
It's also illegal in most cities to throw or deposit grass onto streets or alleys.
Ordinances of course do vary from city to city, so anyone with questions should contact their respective city office.
