Okoboji School Board Approves Option And Financing For New Middle School
(Milford)-- Voters in the Okoboji School District will head to the polls April 7th to vote on a proposal to build a new 62,000 square foot 5th through 8th grade middle school adjacent to the high school in Milford at an estimated cost of $14.7 million, and to ask voters to increase the district's Physical Plant and Equipment Levy from 33 cents per thousand dollars of valuation currently to $1.34 per thousand for 10 years.

Authorities Investigate Burglary At Spencer Manufacturer
(Spencer)-- The Spencer Police Department is investigating an incident in which someone gained entry to the Tecton Industries plant and used a forklift to load and remove several thousand pounds of aluminum, stainless steel and brass.
