FOOD BANK OF IOWA

The mobile food pantry from the Food Bank of Iowa is returning again.  The free distribution will take place from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Good News Estherville Church.  The food will be distributed inside the church.  Recipients are asked to bring bags, laundry baskets or boxes to carry the food.  At the February Food Bank, 515 individuals (192 families) received 8,802 pounds of food.  The Food Bank of Iowa partners with 700 agencies in 55 counties to distribute 2.5 million pounds of food each month, so that no one goes hungry in Iowa.  If you have questions, call the Good News Estherville Church at 712-362-4984.
