Up until this season, Amber Kirschbaum had been the all-time
leading scorer for Spirit Lake High School Girls’ basketball team. Her college graduation was this spring, from
the University of
Northern Iowa, where she
averaged just under ten points per game, as a senior, led the Panthers in
rebounds, and was second in blocks. Now,
she has plans to extend her basketball career.
Kirshbaum talks about her future plans
Kirschbaum says the level of competition will be similar to
what she faced on the UNI basketball court.
She says it should be a great opportunity, not only in basketball, but

She says she hopes to tie some of her experiences
together once she completes her Masters Degree.

Kirschbaum’s teammate at UNI, Jacqui Kalin, has signed to
play, next season, with a Women’s Professional Basketball Team in Israel.
